Aktywność LN1V z lokatora JO29

Planning to be QRV in NRAU Nordic Activity Contests (NAC) 6 m on Thursday 9 July (17 - 21 UTC), and 4 m on Thursday 16 July (17 - 21 UTC), both contests from the fairly rare QTH locator square JO29 with 5 element Yagi antennas and 100 W output power (using Icom IC-7100 + GaAsFET RX preamps), all modes (CW, SSB, FM, digital WSJT), on both 6 m and 4 m.

The QTH locator will be JO29QS.

If no ES or aurora or tropo, check 6 m MS (JT6M mode, 1st period) near 50230 kHz (+/-).

Please note: On 4 m in this county NO operation is permitted between 70.1875 and 70.2625 kHz, because of commercial services there. This means that my operation will be mainly 70.150 - 70.180 MHz (most likely 70.165 MHz) and 70.265 - 70.300 (most likely 70.265 MHz), depending on QRM and QRN. MS mode on 4 m will be FSK441 or JTMS, 1st period.

I hope to be on the ON4KST chat.

Contacts will preferably be random on first come first serve basis, hence skeds will have low priority in these two contests.

Unfortunately there is noise in this my field QTH from a nearby high voltage power line (PLT - Power Line Transmissions?). See photograph near the bottom of my web page:

The special callsign LN1V will be used (in commemoration of the WW2 1940 - 1945 in Norway) during 2015.

QSL to LN1V via LA4LN direct with SAE + 1 IRC (or 3 "green stamps") to cover Return postage.

CU from JO29 on 6 m and 4 m!

73 from Tom, LA4LN
