mcVxMicrowave IF Transceiver(mighty cheap VHF exciter) Hi David ... looks like we have trod many of the same paths ... I've been using the mcHF in transverter mode for about 3 years as my 10/24 GHz rover's milliwatt 2M IF transceiver, I call it the mcVx (mighty cheap VHF exciter). My slides are at http://50mhzandup.org/mcVx%20SDR%20microwave%20IF%20exciter.pdf I find the in built panadaptor very handy for microwave field work. For 122, I just bypassed the 2m transverter and revert to using the mcHF as a 2.5 MHz IF receiver. Mike (K6ML) |
