| NASA JPL and Amateur Radio - Project Moonshine https://youtu.be/5NVXNu2Dn90 Project Moonshine was a NASA Jet Propulsion Labs (JPL) moonbounce experiment to measure orbital deviations. The Geelong Amateur Radio Club (GARC) participated in the experiment with a field exercise in which a small group of Amateur Radio operators cobbled together a portable receiving station in an attempt to receive a 2 GHz EME (Earth-Moon-Earth) transmission conducted by JPL some 5 years ago. As it turned out, they were very successful, so much so that they got better results than JPL did, and there’s a story that goes along with that. Geelong Amateur Radio Club (GARC) uczestniczył w eksperymencie z ćwiczeniem w terenie, w którym niewielka grupa operatorów Amateur Radio zebrała razem przenośną stację odbiorczą, próbując odbierać transmisję EME 2 GHz (Ziemia-Księżyc-Ziemia) prowadzoną przez JPL jakieś 5 lat temu. Jak się okazało, odnieśli duży sukces, do tego stopnia, że osiągnęli lepsze wyniki niż JPL, a historia jest zgodna z tym."
