EI9E - Annual EI9E Perseids DXpedition: this year to IO43 This year's EI9E dxpedition will be to IO43XW on Achill Island, Co. Mayo. We will travel to site on Saturday 8th and plan to be on the air on Sunday 9th. We will operate 6m, 4m and 2m MS and we may try EME on 2m. We plan to operate day and night.
Although we will be portable we will use the callsign EI9E without the /P designator.
Being the most westerly station in EU we will operate 2nd period.
On 4m we will listen on our TX frequency and another frequency on request (via ON4KST) at the same time. Our TX is limited to 70.125 to 70.450MHz.

Arrived at Achill island. Heavy rain high winds at this time
For Perseids 2015 the EI9E team will travel to Achill Island in Co. Mayo and operate from IO43XW square. We will try to reconnoitre a site in nearby IO44 which we may activate if successful. Although we will be portable we will use the callsign EI9E.
