#16: How to use the Oscilloscope to accurate capture 2 signals of different frequencies
This video gives you a basic example of how to use a digitizing oscilloscope to properly simultaneously capture two signals of dramatically different frequencies. The key is to use the sample rate and/or memory depth controls of the scope to ensure that the sample rate being used is sufficiently high to ensure that the highest frequency signal is not undersampled which would result in aliasing. It is also important to understand if your scope makes it's measurements on the DISPLAYED points on screen, or on the actual SAMPLED points - even if they can't all be displayed due to the display size/resolution.
