#25: Analog Oscilloscope bandwidth considerations
NOTE: Error in schematic as drawn - see below...
I'm often asked by hams and hobbyists - I want to buy an oscilloscope, what bandwidth scope do I need? I usually answer - buy as much as you can afford, even if you are working on low frequency circuits. This video shows an example of why. Even simple audio circuits might have some hidden evils!
...the phase shift oscillator schematic was drawn incorrectly. Please short the 200K resistor (connect 10nF to collector), and replace the vertical link to the base with the 200K resistor (200k from collector to base).
