#405: Using TinySA Ultra to measure keyer speed of a Kenwood TS-890S transceiver
This video shows how to measure the keyer speed of a CW transmitter using a TinySA Ultra in Zero Span mode with a trigger. The formulas are simple:
WPM = 1.2/unit_length
and
unit_length = 1.2/WPM
...where:
WPM = Words Per Minute
unit_length = time duration of a "dit"
The rig is a Kenwood TS-890S, and the measurement verified that the WPM setting is accurate (unlike some rigs shown in my previous video, linked below)
