Receiver Architectures - Radio Design 101 Final Epilogue
In this final episode, we complete our study of receiver hardware design by looking at block diagrams and schematics of various receiver architectures developed over the years and at Q-enhanced filters - a modern technique built on regenerative receiver technology. The main problems and solutions for dealing with strong signals in crowded frequency spectrums are discussed and illustrated with real-world commercial radios, including the new ATS25 DSP Software Defined Radio (SDR).
