This video shows the installation and basic operation of an upgraded micro-controller in the Ten Tec 1254 receiver kit. This is one of two upgrades offered at: http://www.cholakian.com/TT1254upgrad... which enhance the operation of this rig. This basic kit improves the number of memories available, eliminates the 9V battery, and adds a lot of flexibility to the tuning rate. Another kit offered by this gentleman adds computer control capability as well.
